Matt & Melissa got married in Panorama Mountain Resort in British Columbia - their favorite place to go snowboarding every winter.
The day started off so hot and we had the chance to take some photos at the top of the mountain which was really amazing. A huge thunderstorm ended up rolling in and we were rushed down the hill in fear that we might get stuck on the top of the mountain. The rest of the day followed suit exactly as it should (minus the crazy rain storm), with love, laughter and many many happy tears!
Congratulations to this gorgeous couple, and thank you for allowing me to capture this special day!
As usual, huge thanks to my second shooter Claire Patterson Photography for your sense of humour, creative talent and your hard work throughout the day!

Marcy and Greg got married and it was a wonderful day. Marcy is one stunning bride, like seriously this girl could pose in a dumpster and she would still look smokin’ hot! And Greg, well let’s just say that his romantic surprises puts every guy out there to shame (sorry fellas!). The morning of the wedding he gave Marcy a hand made box filled with items that symbolized their first date and his love for her. It really doesn’t get much more romantic than that.
Congrats to these gorgeous newlyweds and thanks for having me along for the day. I’ve truly loved getting to know you over this last year. xo
Special thanks to my second shooter Carissa Marie Photography for all her help throughout the day although she wasn’t feeling great. What a trooper!

Janelle and Tyler got married in Ontario and when they got back they contacted me to set up a shoot at the Ice Castle! Of course I said yes because, well, these two are old friends and are major babes, like common. Look at them! This shoot made it in the Fall/Winter version of Blush Magazine, so we were super thrilled to say the least! Today has been an awesome day!
This morning I found out I was named one of Canada’s Top 30 Photographers Under 30. I am honoured, shocked and beyond excited to be recognized by the Canada Photo Convention.
This journey has been an exciting one. It’s involved meeting the most incredible people, travelling to beautiful places, going on adventures weekly with all different kinds of people, being there for huge milestones in many people’s lives and so much more. Along the way there has been some blood (mine), sweat (mine) and tears (once again mine), but mostly there has been so many smiles and laughs. This year holds 31 weddings in Alberta and BC, numerous portrait sessions, and one desination wedding in Jamaica! It’s going to be an incredible year and I can only imagine what 2017 will hold.
Thanks again to my incredible clients, friends, family and boyfriend for all your support! I couldn’t do it without you. <3

Alisa and John contacted me to do a shoot for their 1 year wedding anniversary and of course I was thrilled to capture this time for them. It’s easy to tell how much they love each other, and of course they made the most stunning models! I feel so lucky to have gotten to know these amazing people.
This shoot was featured in Hitched wedding magazine (www.hitched.ca) in the early Spring of 2016.

The Wold Winter Wedding was a wonderful way to start 2016!
I was truly impressed by the time and effort put into the details of this wedding. The bouquet flowers were knitted by Katrina - what a cool idea! She also baked home made apple pies and served them to everyone at the reception. Katrina definitely wins the house wife of the year award!
Thanks to Katrina and Jamie for having me along.
Here’s a collection of some of my favorite boudoir, engagement and wedding images from this passed year. 2015 was an incredible year for me and my business! I feel like it went by in a flash, I guess that’s what happens when you’re having fun! I can’t wait to see what 2016 has to bring.
Thanks to all my wonderful clients for their continued love and support!
Katie and Justin had their ceremony out at the Bar None Ranch just South of Calgary and their reception was held at Katie’s parent’s beauitufl acreage. Katie just so happens to be an event planner so she definitely put those skills to use while planning the wedding of her dreams. I loved all the personal touches Katie put on this wedding! Given that Katie grew up on an acreage, it only made sense to have a country rustic theme.
Katie and Justin are two peas in a pod - they always have each other’s back and bring out the best in each other. They met through a mutual friend and they have been tied at the hip ever since. I love the way Justin looks at Katie - it’s heart melting.
Katie was an absolutely stunning bride and I feel so lucky to have been able to spend this day with her and Justin.

Thanks Ashley for braving the cold for this shoot! I’m not sure how you managed to keep a cool composure in water that was 4 degrees, but you did it!

Meg and I used to work together at Second Cup when we were kids and our lives have drifted in different directions since then. Needless to say I was thrilled to take Meg’s boudoir, engagement and wedding photos! We always have such a blast together, and she is definitely the sweetest person you will ever meet. She loves to dance with no shoes on and live her life to the fullest. She also chose stand up guy to spend the rest of her life with, AND he’s pretty easy on the eyes… take a look if you don’t believe me!
Thanks Meg and Kevin for having me along for the big day - it was an incredible day I will never forget.
